🚨 Dev Updates 🚨
Our unstoppable engineering team optimized Weavechain to handle over 280-thousand data transactions per second (the speed of which hashes of data are written to blockchains like Solana through Weavechain’s protocol) - truly paving the way to work with big data in Web3 environments! 📊🔒
*Compare to our benchmark of 120-thousand TPS in May and our initial starting point of only 500 TPS earlier this year!*
The new benchmark showcases exciting progress as Weavechain moves into its Private Alpha Launch in July.
Last month, our team also had the pleasure of participating in Chainlink’s Spring 2022 Hackathon! Working together with our friends at Shakudo, we were able to publish complex chain analytics back on-chain.
If you’re curious, you can see our demo video and full entry!

Spotlight: 🔮 Oracles! 🔮
What are Oracles? Why do we need them, and what are a few use cases?
Oracles facilitate the connection of real-world data to on-chain applications. In other words, an Oracle is “an agent that finds and verifies real-world occurrences and submits this information to a blockchain to be used by smart contracts.”
Any industry that you want to work with using smart contracts requires connecting to an Oracle because Oracles make it easier and simpler to obtain, use, and update (both to and from) data from external sources.

What’s in store for the future of healthcare data?
From physical files to millions of data points for billions of people across the world, healthcare has revolutionized the use and storage of patient data through the digital revolution.
How can we make healthcare data practices better?
Commissioned by the NHS, Professor Ben Goldacre set out to find the next generation of data practices, tools, and ideals that will make the healthcare system better. The 112-page research report encompasses thousands of user interviews, work with practitioners in the field, and more.
Web3 is more than a fad.
With Web3 properties, data becomes more secure and more valuable.
Learn why, and join the forefront of technology that Nasdaq Chief Executive Bob Greifeld called “the biggest opportunity set we can think of over the next decade.”
